1. Full-Width Taillights
This design feature has never been seen on previous Model 3 or Model Y vehicles. It’s a brand-new exterior detail but has appeared on the front of the Cybertruck. This suggests that Tesla’s new models might be leaning towards a Cybertruck-inspired style, which is likely to be well-received by fans.
Some owners have joked, wondering if these are leftover parts from the Cybertruck, considering Tesla’s constant pursuit of cost control and the sharing of many components across models. However, this is probably just a joke since new designs generally cost more than full-width taillights.
2. Ventilated Seats
It seems likely that ventilated seats are coming, as many owners have requested this feature. Given Tesla’s habit of using common components between the Model 3 and Model Y to streamline production and reduce costs, this addition makes sense.
Spy shots have revealed that the Model Y Refresh seats have perforations, indicating that they will include seat ventilation. This feature is expected to boost sales once implemented.
3. Screen-Based Gear Shifting
If the Model Y Juniper Refresh indeed uses screen-based gear shifting, it could significantly impact sales. Tesla is likely aware of this concern and may offer a solution in the future: an upgrade for automatic gear shifting.
