I love these lights, although i kinda messed up on the tape with my installation. Is there anyway i can just buy just 3M double sided tape strip by itself? Precisely same one that comes in with this box?
The app is kinda clunky and not always works. So that area can use some improvement. Other than that. They look amazing.
installation took me around 2 hours, but worth effort. And the customer service is world class, I had a problem with one light connection, no questions asked they sent a replacement immediately.
Overall, great addition to my Tesla model 3. This set took me roughly 2.5 hours to install (probably could have been quicker but I’m a perfectionist lol) and was pretty simple to do. Unfortunately, the first set I bought stopped working about 3 days after I installed it. I contacted the manufacturer and they helped me troubleshoot the issue.
Not very bright. Does not automatically turn on or off when getting into your Tesla. You have to manually turn them on by plugging it into the cigarette ladder or by opening the app on your phone. You don’t get very much extra tubing so you have to be sure to measure correctly before you cut
I was expecting something complicated but since I watched videos on how to install this specific lighting kit for my Tesla, I immediately understood what I was doing. Though I did hesitate at some parts I was eventually able to complete the project. I was hoping I also got the backseat lighting but that’s fine. This is very time-consuming if you go slowly and don’t kinda know what you’re doing but the end result is worth it. I just wish this did not have as many cables as it can with but it makes sense at to why it did. don’t be afraid to open up your Tesla to snake or hide some cables. It’s very easy to pop back on
