The official Cybertruck account has announced that FSD Supervised (Driver Supervision version) has been activated for Cybertruck owners in Canada.
In September of this year, Tesla rolled out the FSD Supervised software to Cybertruck owners in the U.S., and it is now being gradually pushed to Canadian Cybertruck owners as of this past weekend.
X (formerly Twitter) user Dare W shared relevant screenshots on Saturday evening, showcasing the update log for the Cybertruck's FSD system. The user also posted several videos demonstrating the first-time use of the FSD system in Canada.
Additionally, multiple Canadian owners have reported that Tesla has begun rolling out FSD Supervised, version v12.5.5.3, to Canadian Cybertruck owners.
Tesla launched the Cybertruck in Canada last month and completed its first deliveries earlier this month.
Currently, Canadian consumers can sign up for Cybertruck test drives via the Tesla website. In July, Tesla also received an exemption from the Canadian government, allowing it to use the unique steer-by-wire system in the country.
It’s worth noting that when the Cybertruck was first launched in the U.S., FSD Supervised was not included in the initial rollout. Tesla took several months before making FSD available for the model. Elon Musk had previously stated that Cybertruck's priority for the FSD Supervised rollout was lower compared to other vehicles.
